BELMONT RESOURCES INC. (“BEA”) (THE “COMPANY”) HAS COMPLETED THE PRIVATE PLACEMENT ANNOUNCED FEBRUARY 8TH AND 15TH AND ACCEPTED FOR FILING AS PER THE TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE (THE “EXCHANGE”) BULLETIN DATED MARCH 3, 2011.

The Company has issued 5,146,000 units at a price of $0.075 per unit for gross proceeds of $385,950. The units consist of one share and one share purchase warrant exercisable at $0.10 per share until March 4, 2012 and $0.15 per share after March 4, 2012 until March 4, 2013. The shares and warrants are subject to a four-month hold period expiring July 4, 2011. Twenty-five placees participated.

The Company intends to utilize the proceeds of the private placement for further property acquisitions and general working capital.
